Official Long Biography
About Annie Emprima
Annie Emprima is a metaphysical trauma researcher, U.S. Army veteran, story-based speaker, and founder of One Emprima. Her work began during her 2016 deployment and grew into a decade of research into how trauma can live beyond memory: in the body, the nervous system, the energetic field, and the patterns people continue to repeat even after they understand their stories.
Annie developed the EMPRIMA Methods™ to work with emotional imprints, inherited burdens, and survival patterns that may remain after someone understands what happened to them. Her work explores the space between what the mind can explain and what the body may still be carrying, including the ways unresolved experiences can continue to shape emotional, physical, and behavioral responses.
Her work is non-clinical and does not replace medical or mental health care. It can be used alongside therapeutic and medical care as another way of exploring the relationship between lived experience, emotional patterns, the nervous system, and the body.
Annie has worked virtually with clients across seventeen countries and speaks on trauma, nervous-system awareness, moral injury, the mind-body connection, inherited patterns, and the broader ways human beings carry and respond to difficult experiences. She is the author of Trauma Whispers Before It Roars: The Field Manual for Your Nervous System, which brings her research, stories, and practical framework for understanding trauma to the everyday reader.

Angel Investing
Annie’s path into angel investing began toward the end of her 2016 deployment. While talking with someone about investing and how deeply she cared about her community, an internal whisper interrupted:
If you care about your community, why are you investing in global stocks that don’t care about your community?
Sell your stocks. Invest in your community. She did. And, as she now jokes, that was a terrible idea.
Not because the direction was wrong, but because she had not yet learned how to be an angel investor. Her first investments taught her that intuition can point us in a direction, but it does not replace education, due diligence, or discernment.
Annie later found StartUpNV and qualified as an angel investor through AngelNV, where she gained access to investor education, founder evaluation, and collaborative due diligence.
Today, she views angel investing as another form of community service: helping founders turn ideas into businesses, create jobs, strengthen local economies, and build a future where innovation begins close to home.

The EMPRIMA Methods™
Embodied Metaphysics for Personal Reconciliation, Integration, and Multidimensional Advancement™
Developed by Annie Emprima, the EMPRIMA Methods™ are a collection of metaphysical modalities for exploring the signals carried through the mind, body, nervous system, emotional landscape, and soul.
The work brings together nervous-system awareness, somatic trauma insight, lived military experience, metaphysical research, and grounded reflection to explore the space between what a person understands intellectually and what may still be carried physically, emotionally, or energetically.
The EMPRIMA Methods are non-clinical, do not rely on hypnosis, and are not intended to replace medical care, psychotherapy, or other licensed clinical treatment.
